Kia Picanto: Features
The new Picanto comes equipped with a lot of additional features for better connectivity and convenience. An 8.0-inch “floating” touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster serve as the focal points of the cabin. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also supported by the infotainment system. The Picanto has an onboard services package through Kia Connect that includes points of interest, parking information, real-time traffic updates, and weather forecasts.
Kia Picanto: Safety Suite
All the major automakers now place a high priority on safety, and the Kia Picanto also strives to offer the same, as per the company. The South Korean carmaker has loaded this hatchback with modern safety features like ESC, 7-airbags, ISOFIX points, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) along with Hill-start Assist Control (HAC). It also boasts ADAS and other safety features including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), cyclist and pedestrian detection, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Driver Attention Warning, and Leading Vehicle Departure Warning (DAW+). By using the front-facing camera to keep the car centred inside its lane, the Lane Following Assist (LFA) technology improves stability and safety. In the event that another vehicle is seen while reversing, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) informs the driver and causes the car to stop.
